This is the installation of the Wild Horses Twin Stick shifter for the J-shift Transfer case in my 1970 Bronco.
Notice that I have a access panel cut into the top of the transmission tunnel. Having this made the modification much easier than trying to do it from underneath the truck!

This is how the stock J-shifter looks installed on the Transfer case.

This next photo shows the stock Transfer case shift rails. Notice the shape of the "flags".

This one shows the tunnel cover back in place, and the small amount of cutting that needed to be done to clear the shifters. (The hole used to be square)

Here is the finished product. I bought the twin boot for the  shifter, but as the hole in the floor was too large for it to cover, I installed my old boot over the twin boot.

All in all a very easy modification. With the access panel in the tunnel it probably took about an hour or an hour and a half to do the installation, including time to assemble the pieces and take the pictures. The reason I did the modification is that my stock J-shifter was worn out, and the Twin stick shifter was the same price as a rebuilt J-shifter.
